July 16th

Youth Group tonight from 7:30-9.  We are going to be praying together concerning the direction of the youth group, and following we will have good eats, games and some hanging out.

Prayer Meeting

There isn't going to be Youth Group today, but we are having a short prayer meeting right after the 6:00 service (about 7:15)  to pray for the Youth Group and it's future.  Hope to see you there to pray with us.

Change

Sorry we haven't updated you for a while... it's all my (Lily) fault. 
Last week it was raining and so we had to improvise with entertaining our selves inside.  As you can see here there is a battle ship war going on... the ammo being wadded up paper... totally fun!  :)

I want to let you know there is going to be a couple changes with the youth group, and a couple of these changed have already taken place.  We want to apologize for such abrupt change with out much notice, we are going to be having a parent meeting after church next Sunday the 3rd of July to get some of your feed back.   Youth Group has been moved up to 6:00pm, and is now ending at 8:30.  We are going to involve the youth more in the service, and basically allow them to put it on, that way they can be a big part in learning how to serve here in their own local church.  TJ along with Steve Page will both be teaching every other month, and will be providing a discussion time.  Afterward we are going to be playing some games and hanging out together.  See you all tonight at 6:00  :)

Guys night Out & Girls night In

Friday night the 29th of April, the guys are having a camp out.
It has moved locations again, I am sorry for the confusion but this is the final location. Doug Broadbents house is where you will be camping, he even has a lake you can mess around on, so bring your swimming trunks and a sleeping bag, we'll cover the rest! 5:30pm at Doug broadbents house:

The girls are going to be meeting at TJ and Lily Shropshire's house  at 5:30 as well.  Dinner will be provided.  The girls also need to bring sleeping bags and pillows, and possibly something soft to sleep on.  We will be doing girl stuff of coarse!  :)

To get to our house, going east on Fay, after you pass the train tracks, turn left on Arabella (next to Mad Jack's Grill'n Shack), the second street on your right is Barclay, turn on Barclay and drive down the straight away, you won't see our house until you turn a corner... our white Subaru will be in front of the house: 1020 Barclay Dr.

April 23rd

There is no Youth Group today due to it being Easter weekend, we will let everyone enjoy being with their families.  Have a wonderful weekend celebrating God (Jesus is God!) raising from the dead!

Youth Bon Fire

We had our youth group Christmas Bon fire a couple of weeks ago, and had a great time playing in the dirt pile, roasting hotdogs, and marshmellows, drinking hot chocolate, playing games.   It was a great time, and we look forward to keeping this tradition going... :)

Saturday Dec, 11th

We are taking a break from Youth Group for the holidays, and will resume on January 15th.

Dec 4th, Christmas Bon Fire!

 

Hello All!  This Saturday, the Youth will be having a Christmas Bonfire from 4:30-8:30 at Doug and Christal Braudbent's house.  We will be eating dinner (cooking things on the fire) and roasting S'mores, playing some games, and maybe singing some songs... :)  If you could bring some sort of side, like chips (and salsa?)  or whatever sounds good to you, that would be great!

November 27th!

There will be youth group tonight, at the CMA church from 7:30-9...Sooooo COME!

Acceptance and Betrayal (their will be youth group)

We had a good week last week, and most everyone came... THank you guys for coming!  :)

TJ talked to us about Jesus being accepted by the people and the crowds that followed Him.  Many, many people lined the pathway, waiting for Jesus, putting down palm branches on the ground he would walk.  We talked about Jesus being betrayed.  When all the disciples and Jesus were having a meal together, He told them that one of them would betray Him, which was Judas Iscariot, who sold Jesus for money.  The crazy thing was that Jesus knew what Judas was going to do when he became Jesus' disciple, yet he still loved him and treated him like the others,  How disheartening. 

Soooooo anyway.  THIS Saturday... THERE WILL BE YOUTH GROUP, 7:30-9

Hello there folks, this is the new blog for Calvary Chapel Space Coast's YOUTH GROUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just needed to get it started to let you know what's going on during the week, and what we will be doing on Saturday nights so you can keep up with us, and check out what we've been doing.
